Due to the scale and tonnages at Cobre Panamá, this was a particularly demanding application for Pulley Lagging. Competing global products lasted only three to four months, whereas our coldbonded, in-situ lagging performed for four years - right up to the mine’s closure. As a result, we became the exclusive supplier.

ABEAR Industrial engineered and installed a compression‑moulded, three‑colour 50 mm indicator rubber (≈ Shore A 38) on a discharge trommel handling a dense magnetite‑laden slurry within a copper processing circuit. The system delivered >20 months continuous service with no maintenance or change‑out, tripling the previous best life (≤ 6 months) and still counting.
